Previous poles would always lean and not stand up to weather. With the screw into the ground mount system this is stable from the get go. It was easy to install and appears very well made. Currently have one feeder mounted on the pole and two hanging feeders and they are all straight and look great. I believe securing into the ground is key.

This twist-in pole base is the best I have tried. It has the longest underground part which makes it very stable. The cup with set screw enables me to quickly remove the poles in preparation for major storms (critical in Florida). After installation for a new birdhouse, I purchased additional bases to replace all my other bird feeder pole bases.
