Sturdy and super easy to assemble. I like especially that it drills into the ground offering great stability. Looks good in the yard too.

This is a good sturdy pole and I'm happy with my purchase (4-arm extended). I bought it with the domed raccoon baffle and have already watched it foil both squirrels and raccoons.
I would probably knock a 1/2 point off the rating for a few reasons. When connected, the pole sections have a little more "play" than I expected. I used a little bit of non-sticky silicone tape on the swaged ends to help them seat better and now they're great. It would also be nice if the pole kit included a steel rod to help with installation. I had to go into some hard clay and for the last several inches I was not completely confident that the screwdriver I was using wasn't going to break and cause an injury (the hole was not big enough for my biggest screwdriver). I taped a bulls-eye level to the top of the ground socket while installing to ensure that the pole would be plumb and a steel rod that allowed equal leverage on both sides would have made things easier.
But now that it's installed the bottom line is that this pole is well made and should last a long time. The birds seem to like it! I appreciate the fact that it's made in the USA too. I had a few questions before purchasing and received a quick and thorough response from customer service. Thank you!
This is the second feeder pole that I have ordered. The pole was easy to assemble and secure into the ground. It is very sturdy and looks great!
I am very happy with my new Erva 4-arm pole set with baffle. So far no squirrels have reached any of my feeders!
